Truthfully, my office visits are frequent but brief. I’m always on the move: attending service calls, managing repairs in my home workshop (which, by the way, is better equipped than the office), or offering remote support to clients nationwide. In short, my schedule is jam-packed. That’s probably why you miss me in the office! For clarity: My working hours are 12 PM – 8 PM from Monday to Thursday and on Fridays & Saturdays by appointment only.Want to be certain I’m there? Schedule an appointment through calendly.com/gefnet. Alternatively, give me a call or shoot a text at 217-731-4335 (texts preferred). I aim to reply within 12 hours or by the next business day at the latest. If you don’t hear back, please ping me again—sometimes messages get lost. Here’s a peek into my day:
- 12 PM – 2 PM: Peak hours. I’m setting tasks, liaising with clients, and handling admin work.
- 2 PM – 4 PM: My primary appointment slot. If I’m with a client, I prioritize giving them my full attention.
- 4 PM – 6 PM: The optimal time to reach out. I’m usually returning calls and scheduling upcoming appointments.
- 6 PM – 8 PM: I’m wrapping up the day, assisting evening clients, and managing computer deliveries or pickups.
I realize the inconsistency can be frustrating, but I hope this sheds light on my routine. As a commitment, I’m planning to be in the office every Monday at 4 PM for a guaranteed hour. Given the unpredictable nature of my work, I believe this is a step towards more predictable availability.
